The 2025/26 Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League season is set to get underway on Friday, October 31.

Four games are expected to be played on the opening day of the new season across the two zones; Northern and Southern.

In the Northern Zone, FC Savannah will host Ampem Darkoa Ladies at the Aliu Mahaha Stadium while Prisons Ladies will travel to face Northern Ladies at the same venue later in the day.

The Southern Zone, defending league champions, Police Ladies will host Halifax Queens at the Madina Astro Turf at 1:30 pm, while Epiphany Warriors and Army Ladies will rub shoulders at 3:30 pm on the same turf.

The games will continue on Saturday in the Northern Zone with AshTown Ladies taking on Kumasi Sports Academy.

Dreamz Ladies will play host to Tamale Super Ladies, while Fosu Royal Ladies welcome Northern City.

In the Southern Zone, newly promoted Oak Ladies will come up against five-time league champions, Hasaacas Ladies, with Jonina Ladies also taking on Soccer Intellectuals.

The opening weekend wraps up at the Nsenkyire Arena with Samartex Ladies taking on LadyStrikers.

Police Ladies are hoping to win the league title once again after their success last season, while Hasaacas Ladies and Ampem Darkoa Ladies are looking to come back into the picture.
