Renowned Ghanaian musician Afriyie Wutah has joined forces with international reggae icon Maxi Priest on a new track titled “Summer Jam.” The song is scheduled for a global release on 31st May 2026 and will be available on all major digital streaming platforms.

“Summer Jam” fuses Afro-soul, reggae, island rhythms, and uplifting melodies, combining Afriyie Wutah’s deep African musical heritage with Maxi Priest’s world-famous reggae style to produce a track with broad cross-continental appeal.

Thanks to its catchy rhythms and smooth vocal delivery, “Summer Jam” is poised to become a go-to anthem for beach days, road trips, parties, and other unforgettable moments around the globe.

The collaboration also represents a cultural bridge between Africa and the Caribbean, highlighting how music can transcend borders and bring people together through shared beats and experiences.

Afriyie Wutah, celebrated for his silky voice and songwriting talent, first gained recognition as part of the duo Wutah before building a successful solo career. Over time, he has released popular songs such as “Cheers to Life,” “Ayeeko,” “Here to Stay,” “Country Hot,” and “I Do,” earning praise for his blend of highlife, Afro-pop, and soul.

Maxi Priest, one of reggae’s most acclaimed artists worldwide, is best known for classic hits like “Close to You,” “Wild World,” and “That Girl,” his collaboration with Shaggy. The British reggae legend has enjoyed decades of international acclaim and continues to be one of the genre’s most influential voices.

“When Summer Jam officially drops on 31st May 2026, it promises to deliver a refreshing mix of African and Caribbean sounds.
